New website
If you're in that narrow sliver of overlap, this post is for you.

I'm generally an upbeat guy, but my last post (F*ck Facebook) was definitely an angry rant. After getting that off my chest, I spent a bunch of time (and a small amount of money) setting up a new website where I can post photos of our dogs and related stories, safe from the automated nanny oversight of Mark Zuckerberg and his ilk. Nobody can boot me off my own page any more, and I like that.

The site went live over the weekend, and it's at jamiesamoyed.com. It's about our dogs, and nothing else. Like the Facebook group it is replacing, it will have posts every day, usually many times a day. It's hosted by Ghost, like this blog, although it has some differences because of the difference in the pace of posts. Among other things, the layout is different, and it doesn't send out email notifications for each post because I feel like that would practically cross the line into online harassment some days.

Here are the 12 posts from the last 48 hours - an average of a new post every 4 hours.

The post titles and header images are visible to the public, as shown above, but you have to sign up as a member to see the content of the posts. If you'd like to do that, you can sign up here. If you sign up, then you'll be able to see all the content if you drop in from time to time.

Thanks!
